Supermodel-turned-talk show host Tyra Banks is considering adopting a child.The 34-year-old supermodel is keen to follow in the footsteps of celebrities like Madonna, Sharon Stone, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and open her home to a child in need.















Tyra Lynne Banks (born December 4, 1973) is an American supermodel, television personality and a talk show hostess. She first emerged to prominence on the runways of Paris, Milan, London, Tokyo, and the U.S., but her work in the commercial world was her breakthrough.

She is best known as hostess/judge of the reality television show America's Next Top Model, since its 2003 debut on UPN (later CW), and is currently hosting her own daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show, The Tyra Banks Show.















Banks is one of only four African Americans and seven women to have repeatedly ranked among the world's most influential people by Time magazine.Meanwhile, Banks has criticized the paparazzi for wrecking her chances of finding an ideal man.

With her show currently nominated for six Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show and Talk Show Host, The Tyra Banks Show has already been renewed for a fourth season.
"I've wanted to adopt since I was nine. I have a connection with children and they don't have to come from my womb for me to have that connection," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.Meanwhile, Banks has criticized the paparazzi for wrecking her chances of finding an ideal man.
